Naturopathic Care in Indianapolis and Virtually

When you’re dealing with fatigue, digestive concerns, changing hormones, or other persistent symptoms, it can be frustrating to hear that everything looks “normal.”

Dragonfly 360 Wellness is a naturopathic practice on the north side of Indianapolis, led by board-certified naturopathic doctor Dr. Melanie MacLaren. Since 2011, she has helped patients make sense of symptoms that haven't added up anywhere else. You'll be listened to, your full history will be reviewed, and you'll leave with a plan built for you, in our Keystone Crossing office or by telehealth.

OUR SERVICES

Has it been awhile since you have felt like yourself?

Many of our patients are busy, high-achieving women in their 30s to 60s who've been told everything looks normal and still feel drained. We also see men looking for hormone support and anyone ready for a more thorough look at long-standing symptoms. Patients often come to us for:

Why Patients Choose Dragonfly 360

Before becoming a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Melanie earned an engineering degree from Purdue, and she still approaches health like a problem to solve. She doesn't stop at the first clue, and she rarely looks at one system in isolation.

  • Looking past "normal" labs: She checks markers that are often skipped, like free T3 and reverse T3, and reads results against optimal ranges.
  • Connected systems: Hormones, thyroid, gut health, and weight often influence each other, so your plan looks at all of them.
  • Realistic first steps: No strict diets on day one. Changes build gradually, so they actually stick.

She wanted another option after HPV kept coming back.
Cynthia had experienced recurrent HPV and abnormal cervical cells despite previous cryosurgery and a LEEP procedure. After seeking naturopathic care, comprehensive testing revealed nutrient deficiencies that could be affecting her body’s ability to repair and support healthy immune function. With personalized nutritional and naturopathic support, she ultimately tested negative for HPV following pregnancy and continues to prioritize her health. Individual results vary.

Meet Dr. Melanie MacLaren, ND

Dr. Melanie's path into naturopathic medicine started with her own health in 2005. She went on to become a naturopathic doctor and has been in practice since 2011. She is nationally board certified through the ANMCB, a certified NAET practitioner, an RGCC provider, and a registered yoga teacher. For prescriptions such as BHRT, thyroid medication, peptides, and GLP-1s, she works with a supervising physician.

Her first visits are thorough. You'll rank your top three concerns, and she'll review your history back to childhood, along with stress and lifestyle, before deciding which labs make sense. At each follow-up you re-rate those concerns, so you can both see what's changing.

The results her patients mention most are more energy, better sleep, clearer thinking, and finally feeling like themselves again.
