As mother of two and lifelong fitness advocate, I came to yoga to find balance and strength amongst the chaos of a full-time corporate job while raising my two children and helping to care for my health-challenged mother. My long-time coach RYT-200, RYT-500 and c-IAYT, Wendy Cooper, encouraged me to complete  the RYT-200 hour credential under the guidance of PranaYoga School at The Hub Indy and begin my Yoga teacher path.

My experience as a yoga teacher over the past two years has awakened my understanding that yoga is a metaphor for life. We all have a unique life to live through our own experiences and expression, just as our yoga practice is uniquely our own. My role as a yoga teacher is to help you find your own personal expression of yoga.

Anyone can practice yoga, no matter what age, ability or mobility. My passion is to help you find your own expression of your personal practice to the best of your ability on that day within our time together.

I have taught in the age ranges of 7-75 including all genders, races, people of differing backgrounds, athletes, weekend warriors, and those whose preference or ability leads them to be less mobile during their day. My passion is to meet people where they are whether beginner, intermediate or more advanced, encouraging each person to make progress every time they practice. Yoga is not about perfection, it is about making steady effort to improve every time you step on your mat.

I have always had a love of moving my body and challenging myself to learn different movement patterns in order to stay healthy, vibrant, and active. The movement is what keeps me healthy not just physically but also mentally. I also enjoy teaching high intensity movement patterns in the form of spinning, HIIT Cardio and Strength training.

When I am not teaching, I am raising two athletic and musically talented children, helping my husband in our real estate business, caring for my mother, or experimenting with different recipes to find healthy meals that everyone in my family will eat (it’s a constant battle friends!)

I am looking forward to meeting more members of the Dragonfly 360 Wellness community!
